? on recalls and mid-year 2006 changes

Having just discovered that my new 06 was produced in late 05 I have a couple questions.

1. Would the front wiper motor recall apply to a vehicle produced mid October 2005?

2. Does a dealer automatically perform recall work on in stock vehicles (before purchase/delivery.

3. Were there any other mid-year recalls or changes that I should be aware of?

I called the dealer today, they checked my vin and told me I have no outstanding recalls on my vehicle. I guess it was performed while sitting on the lot.
