Opinions Needed for Christmas Present

I'm getting new speakers because my stockers arent cutting it anymore. i dont want subs but i want crisp sound. i have the alpine 7892 and was wondering if these Infinity Reference 6x8's would work well for all four speakers http://www.millionbuy.com/inf6802.html

im kinda dumb when it comes to car audio. i did a search but found some mixed results, what other reccommendations do you have?

Finally! someone i can actually help!
The infinities are a good choice (esp. for that price!). but as usual, you can always to better here are some other options you can consider
1) Kicker K57 they sound pretty good and sound good while playing at higher volumes. (descent bass response)
2) ANYTHING BOSTON ACOUSTIC. Personally, i have boston's RC620 component set, it sounds great and has a good bass response. you can go with any of boston's regular 5x7s and be greatly satisfied

Also...anything you choose will sound better than the factory, i mean you can go to walmart and by a factory replacement for $10 and it'll sound better....but make your decision based on what you want, i just figured id rate the infinities and give you some other options

exactly...you can't beat that price...i havent seen them anywhere for less than $90 and these guys are rated really high on yahoo (and i like shopping with yahoo, ive always had good luck there)

infinity reference speaks are a very solid line of speaks, I would recommend them to the average up too audiophile user that doesn't need to have extremely high spl but is looking for some good sq.
