Where are the codes located on our vehicles is there a site where i can plug in my id tag (not the vin) and see what my vehicle had on it orginally? Ussually ford has them on the firewall for cars but here i am not sure.

I was in that same situation once, I just went down to the local ford dealer and starting asking question's. Two guys came out of the service office and went under my truck and answerd all my questions. I wanted to know what rear end i had. Belive it or not I was in and out in less then 10 minutes. Your best bet would be to find the younger service writer, the older guy's are way to busy drinking coffe and upselling old ladies that are only in for an oil chang!
