- '04 Sport Trac V6 4x4
Decided to finally upgrade that old CD6 (Prompted by 2 new iPhone5's in the family).
Shopped around and landed on the Pioneer AVM-P2400BT for just under 300 bucks.
After some initial confusion (I don't do this stuff often and have to retrain my self each time), plus they sent me the wrong harness stuff not once, but twice. That's when I finally got serious. Long story short? Its all in and working great. And we love it. I am a little obsessive about documenting my work and this project was no exception. So if any of you folks out there are thinking about a similar upgrade you might just want to view this little webpage I cobbled together. Click here to view.
My Ford is a 2004 Sport Trac. I have no idea what other models my efforts may apply to. I kept the stock speakers and subwoofer.
It was not a painless effort so if I help just one other member out there, I will consider the effort I made to publish the webpage worth it!
