I am tired of using my 20 year old oldsmobile to tow with. I am going to have a "jeep" company add leafs under my rear to prevent sagging (which occurs when the truck is loaded itself) and put a receiver on the back. My question to you is, where does one find a heavy duty clutch?
I have a base "x" vin 4.0 and I would like to put a stronger clutch in when the time comes. But from a couple different searches, i dont think such a product exists.
Also, im not towing anything the truck cant handle stock, just a 6x12 enclosed trailer with lawnmowers, or video equip, or moving stuff like i have to do 900 times a year. But I want it to sit level and not blow the clutch right out of it in the process.
P.s
I need to get a limited slip for winter to compliment my new michelins. Last winter the kuhmos and open rear left me sliding backwards down hills, what have you guys put in?
Ford racing is an obvious canidate, but am interested in experiences involving other brands.
