outlet diameter

i have decided to get the Flo pro dual inlet muffler for my truck with the 2.25" inlets, but what would be a better diameter for the outlet, 2.5" or 3"

I like the 3" just don't let it stick out past the bumper.


edit: I thought you were talking about the exhaust tips alone.

I'd go 2.5". I had 3" on my 5.0L when it was stock and I lost a bit of TQ.
