My out side temp. showing up on my dash is higher than expected. The only thing I did was change the air filter & within 12hrs my outside temp is out of wack.
Any suggestions on what I may have loosened or severed?
And where may the sensor be located at?
Also I did vacum out the air breather box if that helps.

Thank-you muchly,

Temp sensor is located behind the grill on the passenger side. Remove the grill for easy access. I recently changed mine. It was about $40 at the dealer.

Any update? Did you find the temp sensor?

magnum-pei, Did you locate the sensor? You still out there? :salute:

I found it, I think.
BUT
my temp came back to normal a couple days back when I was passing a car on the highway & had the truck tramped down.
odd eh!

The connection might have been loose. You stomping on it could have move it to make a better connection. Hope it continues to work for you. Keep any eye on it. If you need further help, let me know. :salute:
