Outside temperature gauge reset.

I recently purchased a 97 explorer xlt with 5.0 AWD. the outside temp gauge is WAYY off...its constantly reading over 110° when its only been around. 70 outside. Any suggestions on how to fix it? :navajo:

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the stock 95-01 section. It sounds like the sensor or wiring might be bad.

Have you figured it out? Mine was doing the same.
