Overheating electrics??

One for the speed control and another for the drivers seat. Still waiting for Ford to get the parts in.

Thats an interesting fact - got me worried again now. All a bit confusing:confused: Intrigued to know what the recall was for the drivers seat.

Is there an available list of all UK recalls.? In my ignorance, do they have an expiry date?

The drivers seat recall was again only for some cars and it involved changing one bolt that holds the seat to the recliner mechanism. Apparently the bolt can shear and the seat back drop causing loss of control. As far as I know these are the only recalls for the Explorer in the UK and they do only apply to some models and not all.

Thanks everybody, won't worry any more (least, not about the Ex). Had hoped the seat might have been the operating lever, but spose this is not a safety feature.
