Howdy,
I just bought a 2001 Explorer Sport Trac with 175,000 miles.
Drove it for 2 months and it started slipping and over revving when it'd try to hit 3rd. If I'm in second and I feel like its about to try and shift - if I let off the gas it'll hit third, but if I leave the gas applied in second going to third it'll shift out of second and won't hit a gear - it just spins.
I'm thinking a rebuild is in order but I thought I'd check with other owners to see if there were any cheaper easier solutions to a P0733. Anyone have any luck just changing the solenoids? I drove around with a Snap-On scanner hooked up and it was saying all of my solenoids were fine ("no faults") but I can always hope...
