Do you know more about part numbers?

For example I've ordered the rear bumper protector w/ part number BB5Z-17B807-A.

I'm looking for the rear impact bar (FB5Z-17D826-A) and the part number starts with FB5Z now. Is this a coding for the model year? Some sites showing that the part is replacing BB5Z-17D826-A and there starts my confusion.

The part you want is FB5Z-17D826-A and as you said it replaces the previous number. So if you need the rear impact bar, order the FB5Z number. I don't know why the number changed.
