i am looking for opinions on what are fair prices to ask for parts off the 92 explorer.
when it got parked a few years ago, it ran really well. for the first year or so, i would go out and start it up and let it run, but eventually this got neglected. then i took a few ignition parts off it and the battery as well- and i havent tried to start it up since. the last time it ran was maybe 2 years ago.
currently, i am asking $400 as a package deal for the 4.0 engine, AC components, wiring harness, brain, aftermarket radiator, everything attached to the engine- ect- practically everything under the hood (except a few select parts i plan to keep for myself, like the blower motor and trans cooler.) is this a fair price to ask, since the buyer must pull the engine theirselves, or am i asking too much?
if i part the engine out piecemeal, what is a fair price to ask for all the major parts individually?
i am asking $300 for the 2wd automatic transmission and anything else needed for the trans (besides the cooler). it worked and shifted perfectly when it was parked. is this a fair price to ask, since the buyer must pull the transmission theirselves, or am i asking too much?
how much should i ask for body parts? they are all in fairly good condition, besides light scuffs on the paint, and a tiny ding or two here or there? minimal rust.....
how much should i ask for any other parts you can think of?
