Parts Order from Stateside

Hi guys
Next week i'm probably gonna be ordering some Ford OE timing parts from tascaparts.com or Toulsey Ford parts (assuming i don't get a demand for money from the inland revenue!).

to give you an idea Tasca do the 00M12kit for $49 and rear tensioner for $29.

So if any of you want to add to my order then give me a shout :wavey:.

Likewise if any of you are ordering in the near future from rock or the like i would like to get front timing cover gasket set (tasca and toulsey only do the idividual oe gaskets) and just ordering this would not make economical sense. Or would it?? any one ordered just a couple of light weighted stuff from rock and what was the shipping?

Got the equivelent quote from Toulsey and they weren't even close so Tasca it is.
I will be tearing into the engine this weekend so i will know by monday what parts i need to order.
So if anyone wants something from tasca let me know and i can add it to my order and you will then only pay uk post plus parts cost.

looks like it might be cheaper than I thought to rebuild that V6 I've got then, still gonna go V8, but might rebuild it later and sell it on....

Si, thats my plan as this is the rattly spare i ran whilst i was doing my original. So a few quid spend gives it some resale value. If no one will give me what i want for it once done then i'll just keep it as a spare. Obviously there are some other costs like other gaskets and tty jack shaft bolts if i have to undo them. Shells if i need them and maybe some oil pump parts but other than the gaskets these are as cheap here.
Obviously i still have the timing tools to so no extra expense there.
I do keep looking in at your pickle thread, good luck with the V8
