My front passenger window of my 2012 Explorer Limited got chipped and then the rest of the laminated window cracked like an Etch-A-Sketch. I had it replaced yesterday, but now the bounce back occurs every time I fully raise the window.

I couldn't find anything about resetting or adjusting the set point for bounce back on the forum or in the Explorer manual. The dealer may have to look at it to get a fix, but appointments, waiting, etc. are things I'd like to avoid.

Has anyone had an issue with inappropriate bounce back? Solved it?

I don't recall seeing anything posted on this before. There have been problems with the window stuttering when being lowered.
It sounds like a problem with the window mechanism that the dealer will have to look at.
