where can i get stronger lifters and a roller rockers and stiffer valve springs at?

comp cams makes a dual valve spring, normally used with the 422 camshaft. You can purchase them directly from comp, or from several suppliers, such as Summit Racing.

Actually the used to be a guy that made a set of roller rockers for the 4.0 ohv but he no longer makes them cause nobody ever bought them. Sold less then 10 sets of my memory is right.

im wanting to put a cam in my truck and i figured since i was goin to tear the motor down i ought to put stronger springs and stronger rocker arms and everything while i had it apart

A company use to make them,i have the name and part number home but they had so many problems they stopped making them.the guy your thinking about made rocker spacers.988-12 is spring part # and smithbrothers make pushrods 5.550 is normally the size and rock auto has the rockers.go with the 422 cam,summit has the springs and cam.

They dont make them.you can make one out of a spare fuel rail or have a cnc shop cut you one

The guy Im talking about is Doug904 on various rbv forums. He used to also make and sell a set of 1.6 roller rockers.

He didnt make them just sell them and when i talked to him back in 07-08ish he said he stopped dealling with the company because of to many problems,something about getting matched sets or something,cant remember. I contacted Vanir and they said they where no longer available.ive been a LONGGG time member over onon rps,those folks tought me ALOT.ps here is his thread back in 01,but if anyone can find anyone to make thems now of days PLEASE let me know I WANT A SET BAD!!!

They don't wear as bad and the ratio and preload can be adjusted.you can get even more lift out of a cam!

Stock liters are fine.smithbrothers make the pushrods.do a search on here for the part numbers.
