performance

Hello to all. I am new to this forum. I have a few questions. I have a 98 v8 explorer and would like to increase performance a little. I have just bought a new Ebbtide powerboat and the explorer struggles a little. what mods can I do that are not too expensive and is there a place where I can find some used parts? I am looking for possibly a used supercharger, throttle body, chips, etc. I had one of the fastest mustangs in the midwest a few years ago, but setting up performance for towing is a little different. thank you for all your responses in advance.:redexp:

Well I'd open her up a little with a K&N intake, Ford Motorsport Headers, and some sort of exhaust. I have all those mods on mine and it really made a difference. I pull a Ski Nautiqe with mine. No probs. My next performance mod will probably be a Superchip. We can get deals off the board. Something like $375 for a custom programmed FlipChip. If you did all these mods your Explorer should screeeam.
