PIAA are the best blades I have ever used. I think they are worth every $ they cost
I have gone through a set on Bosech & a set of Anco on the Cad. & am still useing the PIAAs on the Mtneer. Just wish they made them to fit Cad.

Winter blades are not a gimmik. The rubber boot is great to keep ice and snow out so they stay flexible. The only down side is that if you get winter blades with a high profile (like normal blades), the wind tends to lift them off the glass at highway speeds. I found a good set of low-profile teflon winter blades at Costco.
