My wife and I are expecting our first baby in March. We decided her 2 door Explorer would be too much of a pain to get the baby in and out of so we decided to look for a 4-door.
We found a nice 02 Limited V8 with 84k at a local Ford dealer for a decent price and are picking it up next week. I am familiar with the trans issues her V-6 Sport had. I did the upgrades to the valve body around 80k and it’s still good at 120k. Do the V8's use the same box and do they have the same problems?
Just wondering what the typical problems I should keep my eyes and ears out for?
