Pics of the newly installed gt yellow vinyl on the fogs

I have a 3000k yellow hid kit on my fogs but I wanted a deeper yellow look. So instead of a lexus yellow cap retro job I tried the headlightarmor.com gt yellow vinyl, $18 for the precut kit for the fogs. Here is the end result, I will post before and after pics of the lights at night later.

looks awesome i got yellow fogs on my 01 sport but they are not the 3000k yellow fogs i eventually wanna get them.

so i put gila xtreme colors its called shocking yellow window film. I put it over my stock fogs. I wish my fogs were brighter but they are the stock 35 watt I cant find any brighter fog watts besides the 3000k.

I went to like kragen and autzone and asked if they had like a 60 watt or 70 watt for my fogs and they said only 35 watt.

My 35watt 3000k are HID. If you want an 3000k hid kit there all over online you could get for about $100. HID is bright as hell 35 watt is about 3x the lumens of a 55 watt halogen, or they also have 50 watt hid which is more than 4x brighter than halogen. But if you want to go higher wattage on halogen then you may want to check online as well, I'm thinking most autopart stores sell the 55 watt oem or sylvania bulbs only.

It looks really good. If you want brighter go with the 3000k hid kit or the special color hid kit hh...the hh color is kinda hard to find 3bspecialties.com has it & its A LOT more yellow than 3000k and pricier.

The 9005SU headlights are a direct swap for the 9145s. And there are rated at 65 watts, 1700 lumens; where-as the stock 9145 is 45 watts.

Yep, just go to your favorite auto parts store.

The 'SU' just denotes it as a Silverstar Ultra. You can use any version of the 9005 you prefer, whether its the Xtra Vision (XV), Long Life (LL), Silverstar (ST), or Silverstar Ultra (SU).

I might do this to my '95 as the white fogs are next to useless in anything other than looking cool or illuminating the area immediately in front of the car.

I had a Pontiac 6000 that had yellow fogs but they were a yellow lens behind a clear diffuser and actually were functional in the rain and fog.

also your fogs are 9145 aka h10 same as mine. go to http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerPro.../LampReplacementGuide/AutoLRG-ModelSelect.htm for sizing on any vehicle.

Silver star bulbs are def sold at auto part stores. I see them at my local autozone for like $42 a pair.

The 9005 Silverstar Ultra's are ~4100k. Those combined with the 9007 Silverstar Ultra's (~4000k) in the main headlights makes for quite a bit of light down road!
