Ok, my question is when installing a polished billet grille in the front of a 93 X, then how are you suppose to open the hood when checking the motor and stuff like that? Cause I've seen how thin the grille inserts are and I ask myself, "how can would I be able to open the hood if the grille inserts are so thin? Anybody had this kind of a problem or is there a solution to it?? Let me know..

opening the hood

After mounting the grill which was a big process lining it up straight when I was all by myself doing it, then none of the bolts are long enough so, i had to use longer bolts and I got it on straight. My kit was by carriage works and it is a nice polished billet grill real thin tubes and the kit came with a hood release extender. Once, you install this extender the release handle is attached to the extender and it brings it close to your billet grill and always keep a screw driver in your truck to open it. I use a screw driver and just hit the release extender and she opens up just fine
