I hope everyone is having a better day then me.
I have a 1994 Ford Explorer Limited, which means that it has JVC sound system with factory amp, and sub. Mine also has leather seats, all power options. My SUV came with a factory CD player.
The Radio and the CD player when bad, so I wanted to replace the radio with an aftermarket, with a CD player. I have the install wiring kit. I install the radio and yet there is NO sound. So I took out the radio, and hooked up a small external speaker, to test the radio and still no sound. So I when out today bought a brand new radio with a CD player. I hooked up the new radio and still no sound. This radio is brand new, so I think it would work. I also hooked it to an external speaker, still no sound.
I know the wiring is correct, because I have installed over 10 aftermarket radios.
Does anyone have the same problems as me?
Does anyone have any Ideas?

I need as much help as I can get.

Did you make sure and get the wiring kit for the on with the premium sound(factory amps and sub) or did you just get the regular one?

I got the one for the Permium sound system, factory, Amp and sub.

i had a problem like that made me think a 200 dollar radio was bad. i had to run new wires to all my door speakers pain in the a## but the sound works great now
