Pop Rivet License Plate Holder

Anyone know how this black plastic rivet goes on the license plate holder? Do you have to go to Ford or does a pop rivet gun from Home Depot work?

Why not just replace with bolts? Thats what I did, just used nylon lock nuts and havent had a problem, plus its removable, comes in handy for repainting the black bumpers

Just about anywhere... hardware stores, car part stores. What's the story with your plate? Did it fall off?

I think someone hit it in a parking lot and snapped just one of the pop rivets off. I think I might need a 1/4 pop rivet gun because a 3/16 won't fit the plastic rivet used by Ford.

Darrman is right, just bolt it in...

Lock it up so it won't end up at the side of the road. It's better than the rivets...

I had mine bolted in... I tried the plastic clips, but they got knocked off at the car was, so bolted on!
