So my friend asked me when i was going to turbo my X the other day, and then i started thinking... I'd much rather have a Positive Displacement S/C (i love that whine) so i started looking for ones for the 4.0 and all i've found are the Eaton M62 and M90. Anyone else make a S/C for the 4.0?

This is all just a thought as i'd have no clue were to start making a custom PD setup, custom turbo setup would be much easier.

The M62 and the customized M90 kits are about your only options for the 4.0 SOHC unless you go fully custom. I have done a fully custom PD twin screw blower and it is not easy or cheap. If I were you and wanted a PD blower then just go with one already made instead of trying to reinvent the wheel. Unless you want to go for huge power it just is not worth it.

Unless you have another vehicle I am not seeing there, then I assume you intend to put this onto a 4.0 OHV? If that is the case then there are not anymore PD blower systems made for them anymore. BBK used to offer one years back but that has been gone for a while. You might be able to locate a used one but it would probably be somewhat hard to do.

Good luck with it all.

Yeah i was just curious, i'll just keep my eyes open for a BBK then.
