Possible Vacuum leak?

i think my explorer might have a vacuum leak, it makes a weird noise coming from behind the glove box when accelerating, sounds like a leak to me. don't know if there's any way to check if its a leak or not though.
 






do a search for ac vacuum check valve there are about 50 of these asking you same question.

anyway it's your ac check valve it needs to be replaced.
i will post a thread on how to replace it and where its located once i find the thread again.


Edit. I found it quicker than i thought. look for the post that i made in this thread.
 






There is a vacuum receiver tank and the interior firewall vacuum hoses grommet behind the glovebox area.take the glovebox apart and check them.

Usually the whole vacuum line ( interior to the engine bay) should be replaced

Anyways,pressure and vacuum lines could be tested using simple smoke generator.
