Post-lift concerns

Also since I did mounted them to the brush guard I also made bracing that went from the top of the brush guard to the rad core support. Sure it helped out a little bit.

I considered doing that at one point but was advised against it with the reasoning that the radiator core support isn't very strong and would likely be damaged in a front end collision that would normally have not harmed the core support. Since it would be pretty difficult to change out the core support in such an instance, I took that advice.
 






Yeah, you'll cause alot more damage having the brush guard connected to the rad support. The inner structure of the Ex's and ST's frontends are really weak tin metal. My neighbor has a frame shop next door to me and I see weak newer cars and trucks really are.
 






Very good advice! That never dawned on me. Ill just have to go for some extra strength down low then. It sucks because there is not much room where it mounts to the frame to even throw a decent piece of angle unless I cut up the bumper which I am not real big on. No biggie. I make something up.
