I thought this might be a useful thread. In the 20 years I've owned my 90 Aerostar, there have been a handful of mechanics in Northern California that I found to be knowledgeable and competent. I'll list the ones that kept my baby going. Obviously, you all don't live in Northern California, but it's possible that you might know someone in your area that is competent in Aerostar repair.
