I have a 2001 EX EB w/power locks, when it is warm outside above 35 degrees the drivers door will unlock w/the first push of the button on the remote.
But when is colder than 35 sometimes it will unlock when you hit the remote 2 or 3 times then sometimes more than not I have go in from the back seat and pull the handle.
I'm thinking its the door lock motor anybody else had this problem.

Thanks

Darrell

could be a weak actuator or just lack of lubrication.

Try getting level with the handle and listen to see if you can hear the actuator trying to work, if nothing, take of the door panel and do the same thing. It sort of sounds like an intermittent electrical issue. When mine died it would still work, but it was really loud, and then when it got cold water got into it, and froze it solid.

I rcently had a problem with my locks working intermitently, some times it would unlock others it would only try wouldn't work. I got some silicone spray sprayed it in around the latches as much as I could now they all work great.
