Hi,
I have a 98 Explorer 4-door. Very occasionally, I get this constant unlocking locking noise coming from the power locks. The black cylinder didn't actually go up and down, it sounds as if the unlock and lock buttons are pressed quickly back and forth.
I tried turning the truck off and back on. Nothing seems to help until after a few minutes. The last time, it took like 10 minutes for it to quiet down and it was coming from the driver's side rear door. Since then, I have not had the problem, but it will happen months down the road.
Has anyone experience this? I thought it was weird.
