Is it the switch? The left one stopped moving. The passenger side one only moves inward (left towards the car) It does not move in any other direction.

At one point, I forget which one now (I think the passenger one) would move left when I pushed the switch downward and the same for upward.

I saw another thread on here about avoiding aftermarket mirrors. How often can you still run into a good condition OEM mirror? My driver side mirror's body is a bit loose. Probably was hit at one point. The glass vibrates at speed and it's getting annoying enough to replace it

I picked one up from a junk yard for my '96 and it works great.
But if both mirrors are acting up, I'd say it's the switch.

Check for broken wires.

Check for broken wires.

X2 If it's an intermittent problem check the wire harness between the door and body of the truck for a broken or frayed wire.

We carry stock replacement mirrors, if you end up needing to replace them.

Where's a good common spot for checking for broken wires?

As of right now both mirrors stopped working.
