Hi all,
First time on this list. I must say it's great!
Anyway, on w/ the problem. Vehicle: 94 Explorer 4.0L 2wd. While in a turn, usually a right turn, the steering won't straighten by itself. Usually you just "let go" and it straightens up. I'd have to manually straighten the steering, w/ enough resistance that I use some force too. Almost like it fell into a little groove or notch. For lack of a better description.
Doesnt do it all the time. P/S fluid is topped off. No typical Ford p/s howl. Had it aligned too. I installed new shocks.
Weird and dangerous. Any thoughts?
Thanks!
