I hear a loude sounds commin form the steering pumpwhen I cut the wheel. Im mean loud. It get louder the more you turn it. I have no trouble turning tho. Is it F**KED or can I run some fluide or rebuild it? Whats the fastest,cheapest way to go?

1st: as noted, check the fluid level before jumping to any conclusions.
2nd: note that Ford's power steering units are known to be noisier than others. If the fluid's full and it steers properly, then make sure that the noise is excessive compared to other similar power steering pumps.
 






I have found that switching to sunthetic PS fluis quietens the noise.
 






Well Im bad for jumping to things , I already took the pump off and removed the pully. Not much todo their. I put it back together and am gettin ready to put the fluide in. Ill fill ya in on the details
 






It is much quiteer now but I can still hear it when I have the car started and trun the wheel. I hear it over the engin and talking. My other X it's that loud.
