Hi, I have a semi working drivers side window. The summer has made it so I want to get this fixed...

realy all I need to know is how the window is normaly attached to the power track... mine is off and I don't see how it would connect. it is possable that parts are missing because everyone under the sun has tried rig it to work before I bought it...

the motor goes down but does not take the window with it... I can push the window down but it falls down in the door most of the time. PITA! if you can provide any help you would be the best!!!

There is a slotted piece of metal glued to the bottom of the glass at each end. That piece of metal is rivetted to the window track. The track is held onto by 2 sliders on the regulator. If the glass has no metal pieces on the bottom on either end, then it just needs to be glued in the slotted metal pieces. If the window has the track on the bottom of it still then the plastic sliders on the regulators came out of the track or broke. Take the inner door panel off(easy job), and you'll see what's wrong.
Good luck
Peace

what is the best glue to use to reattach the metal piece to the window?

I used 2 part 5 minute apoxy, worked great.

cool man, thanks a ton... I hope this works out. the plastic pieces that slid on the upper part were a bit worn so I hope it stays on... I think it should.
