I have a '91 Mazda Navajo, and about 2 months ago, the driver's side power window stopped working. When I press the switch I can hear the motor running, but the window doesnt move with much power. Like if I press it and push the window down/up very hard I can get the window up and down. Does anyone have any idea what the problem is? I have searched some and read about the cable assembly causing the window to stop, and also that the gear on the motor gets stripped. I am getting ready to sell the car soon, so I would like to get this resolved quickly. Also, the blue book on my car is $6300, but since Navajos are pretty rare, there aren't any in the paper here(Dallas) so I can see what they're sellig for. Does anyone know what I can expect to get?? My car is a '91 Navajo LX, 114,000 Miles, 4x4, I have all records, I am the 2nd owner, Silver ext. with dark gray cloth, It's in excellent condition(shiny paint, interior is flawless, save for the darn window)..... just a rough estimate would be appreciated.
