Hi,
i have a problem with my X 95 (auto trany)(250,000 KM), it shifts from 1st to 2nd easily but it takes too much to shift to 3rd, and the OD flashes some times. I pulled out the error codes (EEC IV), and i got this list:
121
122
332
452
536
538
542
632
646

Any one have an idea what could be the reason of this problem?

Thanks

Is it a 4R55 or a 5R55?

The first codes suggest a Throttle position sensor issue, which can cause transmission problems. I'd investigate that first. The rest of them should not cause tranny issues. Resolve your code issues and I bet your trans will work fine.

Hi, i have already been told that the TPS could be the problem, i didnt find a new one to replace with so i got a used one. now the X is better but the issue is not resolved completely. i guess the best plan it to change the TPS with a new one and see what happens.

thanks

Tried everything!!!!

I have installed a semi new TPS, cleaned the MAF sensior and still nothing. by the way there is something else about the EXP, the speedometer does not look correct; when it reads 70 KM/H it is actually 80-85 KM/H.
And sometimes the RPM becomes 3000 or more and the speedometer drop down to zero.
Thanks.

Tire size, modified? Gear ratios? (I don't know these things, but they have been discussed) Hope you find a solution. Suerte!
