I would be grateful if anyone could provide some input into my situation. I ordered a walker OEM cat-back exhaust for my 2000 explorer sport 4.0L SOHC. I didn't bother to see if it would fit until I received it, when I noticed MY muffler has dual inputs from two cats.
Anyway, I'm kind of in a time crunch, (my current muffler is about to fall off, and I'm making a long trip on Monday - I just replaced all of my shocks and brake pads/rotors) so I was wondering if you guys think I could fit a Y-pipe or get a shop to weld on another input. Or, should I return it and buy the correct muffler locally? Finally, am I just being stupid and missing something?
Thanks for your help,
Tom
