Problem with 95 explorer HU harness

OK guys, i did my stereo in my 96 explorer, and all went well. My friend wants me to put in his deck in his 95 X. I knew he had the premium system with the sub etc, so i went to tweeter and asked them for the ford premium harness. So i get it and the speaker harness is different. they look exactly the same, but the wires are in different pins, and they will not plug in at all. Anyone have any suggestions. He has a 95 "Expedition" Sport

i know this has no relevance to your questionn, but whats the expedition sport, sorry i was just wondering..

snair--i'm pretty sure the expedition was a package that only came on sports back in '95?? (someone correct if i'm wrong) it just consists of the eddie bauer fender flares, running borads, and i thought a lil bit bigger tire....search it, i know it was discussed previously

Ya, white96x its somethin along those lines...its got leather and all the junk...anyone got an answer to my ques??

My suggestion would be, if you can, pull the factory head unit and disco the harness hookup... drive back to tweeter with the X and the HU.... take the HU w/ harness into the store.... tell them you want to return the harness they gave you and you want a harness to match the one on the end of the factory HU.... thats how I did it....
