Im a little new to this forum so please bear with me. I have a 2000 explorer sport 4x4 with the Control-Trac. I went out 4 wheeling the other day in some sand and a little mud, nothing crazy, and now it sounds like there is excessive noise from the front end. The noise sounds like mudding tires on the street like a humming type sound. I do not get any binding when I turn and when I put it back in 4 hi it seems like the 4x4 is working. Im new to the control-trac system...does it have automatic locking hubs that could be stuck. I jacked up the truck and spun the front drivers wheel and the front drive shaft spins.
