Problems shifting.....

I have a 94 xlt w/ AT. I have problems shifting into second gear- under normal situations second gear should kick in around 20 mph and 2k rpms. This is not happening- I am looking at 35 and 3k rpms. I just replaced the vaccume module this weekend w/ no luck- I can get it to shift @ 20 mph and 2krpms if I let off the gas- Any suggestions on the next step??? Thanks

Sounds like a vaccum leak somewere. I would double check all of you vaccum hoses.
