Hello, Since I removed the belt to work on the A/C ...the power steering pump started to loss the fluid, but I'm very confused ...the leakage is from the shaft of the pump, ie, from the bearings. The loss is bigger when I have rided the Expo and the PS fluid is less viscous. The fluid is ATF.

What can I do to repair it ??

I'd like to repair it, because in my country is something difficult to get Explorer parts.

I'll be grateful with your responses!!.

I had a PS loss as well on my 91 and I sucked as much fluid out with a turkey baster (actually if you can get a smaller suction device in there you can get more out) and replaced with Lucas Power Steering Fluid and Stop Leak. No probs since. ABout $15 total

I had think that...because I readed sometime that properly power steering fluid is more viscous than ATF, specificatly when they are warm, so, is less prone to be matter of leakages.
Now , I'm more sure about it because of your reply. Thanks Rossneag.
