Ever since I got my 99 Mounty back from my accident, it pulls slightly to the left. (It was hit on the left FWIW)
I brought it back to the shop, they put it back on the machine and says everything is OK.
On the highway, it definatly wanders left regardess of which lane.

Is there something they could be missing? I am going to request that one of their mechanics go out on a road trip with me so I can show them what I mean.

Any suggestions?

alignment, tire and the rims re-balenced

Aligment was done and rechecked.
Rim that was damaged was replaced along with the tire.
I even rotated the tires, back to front.

Check the tire pressure.. They may have easily put it up to 50 psi or something.

Wpurple, the accident apparently changed the caster on the left, that's why it's pulling to the left. As strange as it seems, the caster differential adjustment is on the right control arm, and that's probably why the shop missed it. Have the shop adjust the right side caster, and that should make it drive straight again.
Good luck,
ROE

I see this ALL the time.

I am not saying this is the case with you but it may be. When people get their cars back from the shop they tend to be far more critical then prior to the accident. All roads slope. That makes for water drainage. Some road worse than others. This could be the pull you are feeling.

Can you post your alignment numbers ?

MONMIX,
When I am in the right lane, the road is pitched to the right, and the vehicle still pulls to the left, plus it seems I am always trying to correct the steering to keep it straight.

If it weren't for those 2 observations, I would agree that I am being too critical.

Auto mfgs design in slightly more right side caster on purpose. This is to allow (a better chance of) the vehicle to drift to the right side of the road in case of driver impairment; going to sleep, heart attack, etc. It's a safety factor, to help prevent head-on collisions.

There's a lot of latitude in caster adjustment, and it's possible it's 'within' spec but still biased to the left. I still say a little more caster on the right wheel will straighten it up.....
:burnout:

I believe you.

I would check the tire pressure. Use a good guage, those pen type ones you get at auto zone for a dollar are any thing but reliable and accurate.

Check the alignment at a shop other than the one you just visited.
Post your current numbers too if you can.
