I know it's not a 95-01 or even a Ford but if someone could tell me the secret, I would be very pleased. I think it's the same as a ranger in mazda skin.
I'm pulling the 5 speed standard out of a 94 Mazda B4000 with a v-6. Having trouble getting the bellhousing past the exhaust crossover pipe and the firewall at the top. There is not enough room for the bell housing to clear. I think if I could drop the pipe, there would be enough room but the bolts holding it to the PS manifold are not giving an inch. Soaked them again today with PB Blaster. If someone knows a secret to my problem, I would welcome it very much. Thanks.

I have the same problem on a Ranger. The manifold bolts to crossover pipe are in such a tight place that the plasma cutter or sawsall won't reach it.I guess the only thing to do is cut the crossover where it comes down from the manifold and pull the manifolds out and take out the bolts on the bench.
