Q-Logic Kick Panel

Anyone got it? Been thinking about getting it and mounting a 5 1/4 Kicker speaker in it, as well as a tweeter. I took my doors off and plan to make some quick disconnect type things, so they'll be on and off a lot. When they are off I only have the two speakers behind me, and I want to add another one up front. So is this kick panel any good? I think I can get that brand at work, so my price would be cheaper than 150...

I have a friend that has those. He can't use the parking brake, & he kicks them all the time. They look like crap now. They are not a good thing if you use your X like it's supposed to be used. I see CF says to bend the parking brake. He didn't get that info. I'm not sure one would want to bend it anyway.
Also for sound, it's a tad louded & clearer then the door speakers, but that's likely cause the speakers are aimed & in the open.
