For ***** n giggles I went out today to measure the ride height on my 00' explorer limited. noticed the front driver side was really low compared to the rest of the vehicle.

after a lil investigation I noticed the drivers side torsion bolt backed out a lot more then the pass side. with a level and tape measure I was able to crank the drivers side bolt till both driver and passenger front measured 34" from the ground. however it took the adjustment bolt all the way to the stop on the drivers side to adjust which leads me to believe that bar has sagged over the years and miles.

My next question is the front to back difference... I measure 32" on the rear and 34" up front. I really like the truck being higher then lower and would like to level out the rear or almost bring the rear a 1/2" higher for a better raked look. anyone ever lifted the rear 2" and what method did you use while not messing with the pinion angle.

Thanks in advance for any input,
Brad M

Shackles and add a leaf. Cheap, easy, and didn't effect any of the driveline.
