I need new lower ball joints and i'm looking at them on autozone right now, problem is, I don't know what axle comes stock on 4x4 Ex's of my year.

Are they Dana 35 or Dana/Splice 28?

Just me,but if I was going to do that job,I would buy the best ball joints I could get.Take a look at Napa's brand, they are supposed to be really good.:D

I used Moog parts the last time I did one.

I'd go with moog. I replace everything on all my trucks, work or play with moog. No Hassle lifetime gaurentee, bring the bad/ old part back to any moog retailer nationwide (dont need a recipt) and get a new one. I replace all my ball joints, track bars, ect once a year on my plow trucks weather they need it or not for peace of mind during snow season. And since I already paid for them in the start it's just a couple hours of work and no break downs when I need them
