if i were to go with just the front portion of the kit, along with some f-150 spring seats, could i just flip the rear to match? also, will f-150 spring seats actually work with the 4" lift? when i used the superlift 5.5" on my last explorer, i wasn't able to use them. it threw the coil springs out of whack.

I did the 4" RC in the front and flipped the rear and run it as is. There really isn't much noticeable rake at all. So far, so good for me.

would you mind posting a picture of your truck?

If you check out the link in my signature it goes right to my registry and I have pics of it going through the lift, as well as pics of the finished product so far.

If I am reading your question correctly and you go to F150 springs and do a SOA, you may get too much lift in the rear with those springs compared to Xplorer stock springs. If you are doing a front lift, why not just use the stock springs along with the front lift install?

I believe he's looking at using front coil spring seats off an F-150. Those can net extra lift on the front.

If I'm not mistaken you can't use the F-150 leafs in the back without some modification anyway (they are like 1/4" wider so you would need to replace the frame bushings). But I don't think that's what he's getting at anyway. I could be wrong though (I often am lol).

right on. you're right, the rake is nowhere near what i thought it would be.
