Hi, guys...

My 2002 explorer chimes for seatbelt in one minute or so after I start it... like yours..

And it stops... and it chimes again... and stops...chimes... forever... surely in case I do not fasten the seat belt.

I really do NOT want this repeats forever. I often move the car shortly and do not want to hear that sound.

Sometimes it drives me crazy.

I just want one time alarm or something.

Is there anyone can help me?

Thank you in advance.

Find where its beeping, and smash it. Or maybe cut the wire coming off the belt.

You should be able to disable it if you short the 2 wires going to the seatbelt latch. I do not condone driving without though.

More business for Alec! :D

in my ranger i kinda listend to where the beeping was coming from and found a general area, and then found a box that was kinda vibarating under the dash as the noise was made, i looked under there and there was some wires going into it with a plug, i just unpluged the wires and it solved the problem, maybee your car is the same way.

My dad's expedition does the same thing, guy at the ford dealer told him they would disable it for like $15 or something cheap like that.

If you haven't already gotten it disabled, it is in your "owners manual". It's some funky combination of turning the ignition on and off and pressing the seat belt button. I have seen it in there before. I'll go out to the truck here and find it and post it up if need be.

Thanks a lot guys!
I will try what you told.
And...
I will write about my experience.
