Occasionally the engine just turns over and will not start. The battery is good and it has a strong crank. I removed a spark plug wire when this was occuring and there was no fire. I have to wait a few minutes before it finally decides to start.Any ideas?

mine did that when i bought it last april.....but it finally "grew out of it" a girl i used to go to school with's dad works at the ford dealership as a mechanic and he told me what to do when it doesnt start...there's a small cylinder thing on the of the motor(i have no idea what the hell it is) but just hit it a few times and then it cranks right up.

O.K. Hmmm. A smal cylider thing. I will ask the dealer. Thanks.

I'm seeming to have the same problem, I think it is fuel related. There is a TSB with the same symptons that you are describing check out edmunds.com under there maintence section for a list of tsbs.
