I noticed that several of the Jeeps have quick disconnects on thier swaybars. Is this something I should do on my 94 XLT? If so where did you get them? FWD parts said they would not put disconnects on becuse the coils could come out of thier perch. Is this true? I have the Superlift 5.5" lift.
Please need guidence from my lifted friends.

Several of us are running disconnects and the Superlift 5.5 lift. It is possible for the spring to pull out of the upper perch, so you want to be sure the retainers supplied by Superlift are installed. Do a search for on the topic allot has already been written.

Thanks for the info Trace. I serched the archives and found some good info. The link above is from one of my Jeep friends and shows some good pictures of his homemade disconnects.

hey gofast, I did that by forgetting about the rear sway bar, and using the links on the front sway bar (left the front at the factory position). We burned out the old bushings, and used new bushings, along with tine pins to tie it together. It works great!
