QUICK help! Misfire question. Really quick!

Hey, I have a 97 mountaineer 5.0 awd. I am letting my aunt drive it with her 4 kids. Check engine light came on, misfire on cyl's 2 and 8. My guess is coil pack? Any feed back would be helpful before she spends money on something she doesnt need.

Same coil pack

Cylinder #2 and cylinder #8 use the same coil pack and with the waste spark system fire at the same time. I agree that the coil pack is a likely cause of the misfire. One way to check is to swap the coil packs and see if the misfire moves from bank 1 to bank 2 cylinders #1 and #6.
