RADIO PROBLEM, my explorer is from japan

Well my Explorer is imported from Japan, I currently live on Guam. Now radios in japan only go up to 90.0, So I thought if i replaced the stock JBL radio with a US version from the states I would have all my channels again.

But when I installed the new unit still had the same stupid frequencies.

Does anyone know what part of the system needs to be replaced or switched or whatever to make this work.

If by player you mean head unit, it sounds like he already did that.

Yeah did that, I have the JBL system so it's did not work with just changing out the radio, The input is in the back of the vehicle.
